The Dutch food chain is in need of change. Though the agro-food sector is one of the largest economic sectors in the Netherlands, it is facing considerable challenges. It is responsible for a large share of national CO2 emissions, and the landscape is suffering from a loss of biodiversity. And especially in cities, people are far removed from the source of their food. Five founders adopt a new approach: the short food supply chain.
